Dr. Poole was born and raised in Greenwood. He earned his BS degree in Biology and minor in Chemistry from The Citadel. He upholds a lifelong commitment to honor, moral behavior, and a duty to treat everyone with dignity and respect. He went on to earn his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the Medical University of South Carolina.

His love for all things dentistry began at an early age when his grandmother decided to improve her smile with braces. If Dr. Poole and his team identify some areas of decay in your teeth, they will replace that compromised area with a white composite filling. They will remove that decayed portion of your enamel, and fill in the open area with a safe, white composite filling. This will strengthen the tooth and prevent the decay from spreading further. They might also notice some older fillings that you have that may begin to be showing signs of failure. This is especially common with silver amalgam fillings. Dr. Poole may recommend removing those older silver fillings and replacing with newer, stronger composite fillings.
