A little of my grandmother’s advice
“It is nice to be important but
more important to be nice.”
Dr. Poole loves meeting new people and caring for his patients like family.
His interest for dentistry began at an early age when his grandmother decided to improve her smile with braces. The transformation in her smile and confidence sparked a lifelong dream to become a dentist. She also imparted wisdom to Dr. Poole that, “It is nice to be important but more important to be nice.” Dr. Poole always takes his beloved Mama’s words to heart when treating his patients. When not practicing, Dr. Poole takes time to volunteer his services and travel abroad on dental mission trips.
Dr. Poole graduated with Honors with a BS degree in Biology and a minor in Chemistry from The Citadel.
He went on to earn his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the Medical University of South Carolina. Honor and integrity are two tenets of a Citadel education and Dr. Poole believes in holding himself to the highest standard. He is very passionate about his work and strives to constantly improve his dental practice. A lifelong learner, Dr. Poole travels around the United States advancing his dental education and takes over 5x the required dental classes every year.
